If you were Tally, would you ask the warden to mae you pretty?
Well, I might not, it takes alot of thinking. I wouldn't because, if the pill dosen't work, then she's stuck like that. But if it did work then her and shay could be normal again. I'd probabley leave it to a phsycic to be honest.

Confessions
Tally has finally coem clean. Do you think she will regret it? Do you think David will change his mind about her?
No,because it may seem bad at first, but in the end at least she has a clean conscience.
I think, that he might trust her less.

Hippocratic Oath
Should Maddy have forced Shay to take the "cure?" Why or Why not?
No, because what if it didn't work and there was something in the pill she was allergic to and it killed her?

Night Alone
If you were Shay would you get the cure why, or why not?
I woukd DEFINATELY get the cure, because i wouldn't want to live my life totally oblivious to what's really going on, but then again I wouldn't really know what the point of being ugly would be, because that's what they're transformed to think.

Rescue
Give a chronological list of events in the chapter. What's the kicker at the end of the chapter?
David and Tally find shay
She's pretty
They escape the old smokies
Maddy steals the ring
The kicker is that Maddy tells David that Az is dead!

Inside
Is this quote a play on words, or does it have a deeper meaning to the story?
"Radiology. Neurology. Magnetic Imaging," she read softly. "Operating theatre Two."
I think it has a deeper meaning to the story.
What "labels" do Tally & David find in the special circumstancea building? Give a brief descriptionof what you thin each means.
The interrogation rooms, isolation rooms, and disorientation rooms.
The interrogation rooms are for getting info out of uglies.
The isolation room is where they isolate people if they don't speak up so they'll eventually just come clean about everything.
and the disorientation room is where they clear all past memories.
Describe Shay's appearance at the end of the chapter using textual evidence.
Tall, elegant, every feature perfection, her eyes deep and soulful, flecked with copper and gold.
So in other words in my opinion she was a typical "pretty."

Over the edge
In this chapter a few uglies go to New Pretty Town to do a trick. They make the words "THE SMOKE LIVES" with sparklers. If you had one chance to post a message important to you, what would it be and why?
Well I dont know what I would say, I guess i would say don't let anyone tell you what you can and can't be.

Accomplices
The Uglies they met in this chapter are similar to Tally at the beginning of the book. When you compare her to these Uglies, how has Tally changed and what made her change?
Tally is now more aware of what becoming "pretty" means, and I think she understands that theres more to life then becoming what other people think is "pretty."

Familiar sights
Do you think Tally's plan will work? David wants to save his parents, but what's driving Tally? Do you think she is crazy, or are her friends feelings valid?
I think her plan will work. I think what's driving Tally is how she feels bad about the Rusty Ruin's, and how it was her fault about everything that happend, and she feels this is how she wants to make it up to him. I think her feelings are valid.

Oil Plague
How do David and Tally describe the Rusties? Is it accurate?
They describe it as dumb, dangerous, stupid, idiotic, I don't think that's accurate.
What are weaknesses of our society?
Murder, stealing, economy, stock market, pollution.
What are weaknesses of their society?
The oil plague, becoming pretty, runaway uglies.

"Ruin"
Describe the irony in Tally's victory over Dr. Cable. What was lost in the process?
It's ironic, because she thins she beat Dr. Cable, or is victorious, but really its her fault that the Rust Ruins are totally ruined.

"Waiting for David"
p.69
What does the following quote from the chapter tell you about the city?
"That was the one thing about being outside the city:It made all that nature stuff they caught in school seem alot more useful. She remembered now how rainwater fell on the mountains and soaked into the ground..."
That it's more naturey, and everything there is totally different from pretty town.
